James Poenitzsch, PT, DPT, COMT, CSCS
James graduated with a Doctorate Of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Texas Woman’s University in 2016, holds a Bachelor of Exercise & Sports Science degree with a minor in Business Administration from Texas State University, is a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and is currently studying to become a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT). His interests are orthopedics, sports medicine, and in particular, manual therapy. He is seeking specialization in orthopedics & manual therapy by pursuing an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). He has played a variety of sports all his life, including football, track & field, soccer, ice hockey, MMA (mixed martial arts), and golf. Now, his main hobbies are hunting, golfing, mountain/road biking, landscaping, and he is always working on a project in the garage.
